George Pickett & Associates is a multi-person, multi-line manufacturers agency specializing in electrical products for the electrical industry through electrical wholesalers in the two Carolinas and Virginia.

We are dedicated to structured growth through greater market penetration in our present geographical area with our current principals and by assuming responsibility for new principals interested in professional representation.

Our History

George Pickett and Associates was founded in November of 1962 when George Pickett opened the original location in Cary, NC. In 1971, he purchased a small warehouse to provide local stock to area distributors. The business quickly grew and a second warehouse was purchased in 1972. By 1981 George was able to build a 6000-square-foot warehouse, making GP&A one of the largest stocking representatives in the state of North Carolina. In 1997, George’s son Howard bought the company before George passed away in 1998. Howard further expanded the business and moved the agency to Apex, NC building a 19,500-square-foot warehouse. A 7,500-square-foot addition was completed in 2021 which now offers 3 loading docks. Our company continues to grow and expand yearly. We know everything we have accomplished is due in part to our wonderful employees and loyal customers.

Outside Sales

Meet the Outside sales team at George Pickett and Associates! Our dedicated team brings over 100+ years of sales experience and expertise to provide the best possible support for our customers. We not only enjoy the challenge of selling but focus on building long-lasting relationships with our customers and earn the trust for all their needs in the electrical industry.

Taylor Moseley

President

Taylor joined George Pickett & Associates in August 2011, initially working part-time in the warehouse while attending North Carolina State University. After graduating in 2012, he transitioned into the inside sales team and was promoted to Virginia Outside Sales Representative in November 2014.

Taylor completed the Certified Professional Sales Consultant (CPSC) Program in May 2017 and earned his Certified Professional Manufacturer’s Representative (CPMR) designation in April 2021.

In 2022, Taylor was appointed Vice President of Sales and later returned to the company’s home office in Apex, North Carolina. Beginning in January 2026, he assumed the role of President. In this capacity, Taylor manages and supports GP&A’s strategic accounts and key territories in Raleigh and Charlotte, North Carolina.

Howard Pickett

Consultant

Howard has been an integral part of George Pickett & Associates since its founding by his father in 1962. He began his career with the company working part-time throughout high school and college while attending North Carolina State University. During his time at NC State, Howard was a member of the 1974 NCAA National Championship basketball team, playing as a shooting guard.

Following his graduation, Howard joined the agency full-time in 1976. Over the years, he has developed extensive experience across all areas of the organization, with roles spanning warehouse operations, inside sales, and outside sales. His responsibilities have included territory management throughout both the Carolinas and Virginia.

Howard completed the Certified Professional Manufacturer’s Representative (CPMR) Program in 1995. In 1997, Howard purchased the agency from his father and has since played a key leadership role in its continued growth and success. Today, he serves as a consultant to the company.

Jonathan Anderson

Outside Sales (SC)

Jonathan joined GP&A in December 2020 as our South Carolina Outside Salesmen. Jonathan was the Eastern Regional Sales Manager of Current Tools for over 7 years, traveling up and down the east coast calling on contractors and distributors. He has over 27 years of experience in sales in the electrical and construction industries. He completed the Certified Professional Sales Consultant program in August of 2023.

During his free time Jonathan enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is also a huge University of South Carolina fan and attends many of their sporting events.

Jake Rice

Outside Sales (Eastern NC)

Jake joined our agency part time working in the warehouse in May 2015 while attending North Carolina State University. He graduated in 2016 with a degree in Agriculture and Environmental Technology. He started full-time in 2016 as our Supply Chain Manager and quickly moved to our inside sales team. Jake started outside sales in Eastern North Carolina in 2018. He completed the Certified Professional Sales Consultant program in October 2021.

During his free time Jake enjoys spending time with his wife and dogs. He is also a huge music fan. Jake and his wife travel to many concerts throughout the country. He also plays the mandolin and guitar in a local band.

Stewart Haynes

Outside Sales (Western NC & Southwestern VA)

Stewart started working part time for GP&A in January 2019 in the warehouse while attending North Carolina State University. After graduating in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in History, he joined the inside sales team and learned everything associated with the company from the inside out. He also managed our production/assembly team to help put material together for our manufacturers. Stewart moved to Winston-Salem, North Carolina in March of 2025 to become our Western North Carolina Outside Salesmen.

Stewart is a NC State athletics enthusiast and tries to attend as many football and basketball games as possible. He also is an avid disc golfer, enjoys traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.

Howard Bonnewell

Outside Sales (Central & Eastern VA)

George Pickett & Associates is thrilled to welcome Howard Bonnewell to our Outside Sales Team! A proud Virginia native, Howard brings seven years of sales experience in Electrical Distribution, with a strong focus on the commercial and industrial sectors. Covering our Central and Eastern Virginia territory, Howard combines valuable local insight with a deep commitment to customer service, making him a fantastic addition to our growing team.

Jessica Tripp

Inside Sales Manager

Jessica joined GP&A in November 2014 as a member of the inside sales team and now serves as Inside Sales Manager. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Campbell University in 2003. With an extensive background in sales, Jessica brings a wealth of experience to her role, including her current work in electrical sales and her previous position as a sales manager for a large restaurant franchise.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, especially cheering on her two sons at their hockey games. She is also a devoted Carolina Hurricanes fan and takes every opportunity she can to attend games.

Lisa Mickys

Inside Sales

Lisa joined GP&A in March of 2019 doing inside sales and order entry, after working in the banking industry for over 10 years. Lisa graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York. Lisa moved to the Raleigh area 7 years ago from New York and is glad to be in the warmer weather.

During her free time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband, good friends, and family when she can. She also loves photography and is an avid music fan of many genres. She is a huge football fan, especially of the 49ers!

Gregg Gay

Inside Sales

Gregg has been on the GP&A inside team for over 12 years, rejoining our firm in September of 2016. He has been in the Electrical Industry for almost 40 years in many different roles through distribution in the Raleigh market. This includes sales, purchasing and management.

During his free time, Gregg enjoys spending time with his family, and loves being in the outdoors camping and target shooting.

Ashton Oster

Contractor Specialist/Inside Sales

Ashton joined GP&A in December 2025 as a Contractor Specialist and Inside Salesman. He graduated from NC State University with a degree in Business Administration. Ashton previously worked part-time in the GP&A warehouse and gained experience with a major Raleigh electrical distributor, serving in roles including Project Manager, Inside Sales, and Account Manager.

Sandi Gossard

Chief Financial Officer

Sandi joined the GP&A staff as the Chief Financial Officer in February 2023. She comes with over 20 plus years of experience in finance, human resources, and payroll for both large and small corporations. Sandi moved to the Raleigh area in June 2018 from Alabama and loves being in the Triangle area.

During her free time Sandi loves spending time with her husband, who is a Retired First Sergeant of the US Army, and their dog, Dutton. She and her husband share a love of travel and have traveled all over the world in the past few years.

Emmett Holder

Warehouse Manager

Emmett joined GP&A in July 2018 after working on the distribution side. He has over 11 years of experience in warehouse management and manages over 12 part time warehouse employees with day-to-day operations. Prior to warehouse management, Emmett had a self-owned landscaping business for over 12 years. 

During his free time Emmett enjoys spending his time outdoors, hunting and target shooting. He also loves spending time with family and friends.
